Characteristics of Several KORO Bearings

2024-06-14

Thrust bearings are dynamic pressure bearings, and in order for the bearings to function properly, the following conditions should be met:

1. Lubricating oil has a viscosity;

2. There is a certain relative velocity between moving and stationary bodies;

3. The two surfaces in relative motion are inclined to form an oil wedge;

4. The external load is within the specified range;

5. Sufficient oil quantity. To ensure the safe operation of the steam turbine, bearing temperature is an essential monitoring item. The thrust bearing adopts the method of measuring the temperature of the thrust pad to monitor the bearing temperature, on the pad.

Spherical Roller Bearings

Equipped with two rows of rollers, it mainly bears radial loads and can also withstand axial loads in any direction. Has high radial load capacity, especially suitable for working under heavy loads or vibration loads, but cannot withstand pure axial loads. The outer raceway of this type of bearing is spherical, so its centering performance is good and can compensate for coaxiality errors.

There are two types of self-aligning roller bearings: cylindrical inner hole and conical inner hole.

The taper of the inner hole of the cone is

1: 12 self-aligning roller bearings (153000 or 113000 types) with a post code K and 1:30 self-aligning roller bearings with a post code K30. This type of bearing can adjust the radial clearance of the bearing by moving the inner ring axially when paired with a conical shaft. Install the tapered hole self-aligning roller bearings with the rear codes K and K30 on the matching locking sleeve to become the K H type and K30 H type bearings with the rear codes. This type of bearing can be installed on an optical shaft without a shoulder, suitable for situations that require frequent installation and disassembly of bearings. In order to improve the lubrication performance of the bearing, there is a circular oil groove on the outer ring of the bearing and three evenly distributed oils are drilled Hole, with the postscript code W33.

Spherical Roller Bearings

A drum shaped roller bearing is assembled between the inner ring with two raceways and the outer ring with a spherical raceway. The curvature center of the outer ring raceway surface is consistent with the center of the bearing, so it has the same centering function as automatic self-aligning ball bearings. When the shaft or casing is bent, it can be automatically adjusted without increasing the bearing burden. The cage is made of steel plate stamped cage, polyamide formed cage, and copper alloy cut cage.

NTN automatic self-aligning roller bearing

The inner ring has two rows of raceways, the outer ring is a spherical raceway, and the rolling element is a drum shaped bearing. The center of the raceway surface of the outer ring is consistent with the center of the bearing. Therefore, it has automatic centering performance, which can be used normally even in situations where there is an error or shaft winding between the shaft and bearing box, causing the inner and outer rings to tilt.

This type of bearing has a greater ability to withstand radial loads, bidirectional axial loads, and their combined loads, making it suitable for applications that can withstand vibration and impact loads. In addition to bearings with inner diameters of cylindrical holes, bearings with inner diameters of tapered holes are also produced. Conical bore bearings have the symbol "K" after the basic model, with a normal taper of 1/12, but the taper of 240 and 241 series bearings is 1/30, with the symbol "K30" after the basic model. Cone hole bearings are almost entirely fixed to the shaft using tightening sleeves or dismantling sleeves.
